| To those of you who attended H20, and to those who are simply awesome without having to go to H2O, My personality test came out like this. The animal who most closely resembles my own personality is none other then the OTTER. Yes friends, I am a fun-loving fool with a tendency to enjoy being in the spotlight. Ironically, I also have a little bit of Beaver in me. So apparently, I am orderly yet spontaneous, articulate yet rambunctious, and intelligent yet won't shut up. I personally find this quite interesting. | | |
| Ok, Here is another event I can add to my already extensive list of "the stupid things I did in High School". On Friday, Airsoft groupie Nate Welsh invited Mr. Matt Condrey, Aaron Luby, and myself to an airsoft match, probably as cannon fodder due to the fact that Aaron and I have crappy guns, and Nate and Matt are wielding super-accurate shotguns and Matt has a makeshift airsoft arsenal in his trunk. Anyway, I came along under protest, but refused (as did the rest) to go very far. So, we chose the construction site near my house (the one with two massive dirt hills directly parallel to eachother). It was fun for a while, before I did a crazy ninja dive off the steep side of the smaller, but more rocky, hill and slammed my knee against a rock. To top that off Mr. Welsh continued to shoot at me even after he saw me fall. I was fine but my running was slower. Close to dusk, Matt and I were in a "take the hill" match against Aaron and Nate when I look behind me and see a Police Cruiser! The next thing I knew, I had a gun to my face, and was told to drop in front of him. The rest of us followed, but not before Nate had the nerve to argue with a very tense gun toting cop. No one was shot, but we were frisked, dirtied, and Aaron and Nate were Cuffed (which I find very odd, considering Matt is a very large and experienced security guard with extensive martial arts training and I'm a Ninja). So, after backup arrived, The elders were all given 75 dollar disturbing the peace tickets, and Aaron got a ride in the Cruiser the full ten seconds back to our house. Aside from that my weekend was pretty dull. | | |
| Ok, My long Labor Dabor weekend Ruled. I Finally was able to go to the Bristol Renaissance Fair on its last day of the summer. Contrary to popular belief, it is not ONLY nerds and history teachers who attend the Fairs. About 50-60% of the people who go dress up from that time period (as I most certainly did). Even though it did rain at the fair it almost gave it a more earthy and mystic feel, however it was very hard to walk on as my boots did not have rubber soles. Also the rain gave me the opportunity to wear my awesome cowl as well as provide a spectacular mud show. I was a little cheesed at the fact that they made me unstring my bow yet they let guys who were about 6 foot 4 and wealding massive claymores and battle axes just walk right in. There were also alot of very attractive Bar Maids and "wenches" (I'm sorry, thats what they called them) at the fair as well. Yeah, you know I gallantly kissed some hands and said "Ma Lady" alot. Sorry Nate, not many pirates this year, you will just have to try Tortuga to hire a crew. I was suprised as to the lack of archers there as well. I felt rather unique in my sweet hooded archers uniform. Yeah, I totally recommend the Fair to all who read this, if you like the time period or not, it's certainly a cool time. Peace out Luby | | |
| Dude, my english class totally rocks. The entire first unit is on Mythic Heros, and for a history and comic book nut, THAT is Mega Cool. My "assignment" is to list 7 heros "from anywhere" and their attributes. Again, Sweet. I only have four classes this semester and all of them rock. The Lord has indeed smiled upon me in terms of this school year. Heck, I even have Kyle Izzie in my Phyche class. (We are totally setting up a kissing booth as an experiment this year). Oh, and for the people who aren't in the know: my profile pic is a picture of the PokeMon: Ninjask. (take away the "sk" and you will see why he is so cool).
I need a Homecoming Date.
Keep it real

| Yah, Really sorry for the, um, lack of updates. Yes, I am still alive, to those who would question otherwise. Not really much to say really. Had really good fun this summer, and thankfully, it isn't over yet. Nearing the homestretch, I must say that it has truly been enjoyable. Saw "Taladega" and Siskel and Adam give it two thumbs sideways. Was relatively good up until the whole "French Kiss thing" (Jibbely, Jibbely). Went Airsoft-ing often and have the scars to prove it.
Hope your homestretch is as cool as my own.
P.S. I'm single (sorry, I had to get that out there)
Peace out , A-Town | | |
